WEST COAST RIDING CLUB
RESULTS FOR TIMBERLAND TYNWALD DAY GYMKHANA
6th JULY 2008
Against all the weather predictions, West Coast successfully ran it's long-established annual Tynwald trophy day gymkhana very kindly sponsored by Timberland Flooring and Ceilings of Onchan. Apart from a small amount of rain, the weather was fantastic and the competition was even better! Whilst the junior entries were somewhat limited, the senior entries were much higher with some hotly contested jumping and games across all age groups with most classes going to a jump-off. To win a trophy, competitors had to have competed at a previous 2008 West Coast event. However, this year, anyone was eligible to win rosettes and trophy winners are shown in the results. After running the day-long event, the committee members left, had to completely clear the showfield of all equipment as it used as a Tynwald Day car park!
