Junior section is now up and running for the season. Depending on your age, depends on which night you can play ! Wednesday night is for ages 11-13 - 6.30 - 7.30. Thursday night is for ages 7-10 and the times are the same. Contact your junior correspondent for further details.

This week is "Come and have a go" week. Anyone who wants to do just that is welcome. 7.30 onwards Wednesday and Thursday.

Rumour has it that Matthew Wilkinson has been seen playing at Sulby. Has Roman Caley "bought" a new player for his team?

AGM highlights

The club AGM was held on September 5th at the community hall. Main points included the selection of club officials, team captains and future development of the junior section.

Mr Quine was returned unopposed as President. Mr Collister likewise as Secretary. Mr Clarke as Chairman. Our Association representative was somewhat different as this year, we decided to have a "roaming rep". This means that the duty will not fall down to the same person each time. We also formed a Junior committee consisting of Sandra, Bev, Joan and Keith. A social committee was also made up of Bev, Sandra and Sarah.

Subscriptions have also increased £5 across the board. Seniors will now pay £55 and £5 per match fee. Ladies will continue to provide the suppers.

Our first team stalwart Robyn will be sorely missed as she takes time off to prepare for a new arrival. Best wishes from all your club mates.

We say "au revoir" to some of our not so junior members and wish them well as they embark on the next journey of their lives - uni ! Beer, studying, leisure - what a life eh. Adam, Melissa, Naemi - good luck and see you during the hols where we will glady accept a £5 visiting fee from you.
