Welcome to the 2008 Youth Tour.

Since it's inception back in 2004 the Youth Tour has grown to become Britains premier Junior and Youth stage race! Past winners such as Mark McNally, Jonny Bellis and Peter Kennaugh have gone on to win World, European and British titles, another former Youth Tour winner Pim Lithgard from Hollandnow rides for the Rabobank professional team.

New Format

The Youth Tour format has slightly changed from 2007. Organisers have reduced the event from four stages to three. The final stage on Sunday May 4 will be on a new course at Ramsey where the race will form part of a carnival. The Ramsey Kermesse course will be large enough to enable 100 competitors to take part, organisers had to return 40 entries from the 2007 event due to a maximum field size of 70 riders on the Douglas course
