Laxey Bike Show 2008

Crowds flocked to Laxey this afternoon (Thurs 5th June 2008) for the second Laxey Bike show.

The BBC's Hairy Bikers were guests at the event on Laxey Promenade, which been organised by the Moddey Dhoo Motorcycle Club, along with Laxey Traders and Laxey Commissioners.

As well as exhibiting bikes in a wide range of classes, the show featured wing-walking display, a sidecar trial on the beach at low tide and the chance to win a John McGuinness replica bike in aid of the Joey Dunlop Foundation.

Even the weather was fine..
