Pleasant site located 1/2 mile from the beach, convenient for electric tram and buses.

The facilities on the campsite include: toilets, washbasins, free hot showers, fridge, freezer, cooker, microwave oven, stand pipes. Four electric hook-ups are available for camper vans, at an additional charge. The site is safe for children, located off a quiet cul de sac and is within walking distance of a launderette, village shops, restaurants, public houses and other village amenities. The site is open April – September

Laxey commissioners campsite, Isle of Man
My favorite campsite is at Laxey on the Isle of Man. The campsite is halfway down the valley side - Laxey is built around a river valley/glen with steep sides with views across the valley and east and west along it, towards the Laxey Wheel. The facilities are not in the luxury class but the location is worth it and it's a brisk walk to the splendid Mines Tavern and the electric railway terminal. There's also one curious feature: the campsite is located in a part of Laxey called "Minorca" so you can legitimately say you've been to Minorca for your holidays. Contact 01624 862623.
