"Baruch Haba'a" - welcome to your contact point for the Isle of Man Jewish Community - also known as the Manx Hebrew Congregation.

This is your information and first contact point.  As a Community, we have occasional gatherings during the year.  There are no regular services on the Island.

Our main Annual event is our Passover Service and Dinner (Pesach Seder) this year it was held on Wednesday April 12, 2006 when 25 people attended the event at the Claremont Hotel.  The service was mostly in English (with certain sections in both Hebrew & English) since many of our Community are married to people of other faiths, we always try to be inclusive while keeping most of the Traditional bits and the after meal songs.

Reverend Elkan Levy, Director of the Office of Small Communities, is visiting the Isle of Man on May 22, 2006 and will be meeting with the Community at the Castle Mona Hotel.

Our previous events have included a Purim Kiddush and annual Chanuka gathering (thanks again to Carol & Paul for hosting the last one).
