The Isle of Man Wind Orchestra is the only wind band on the Island which is open to players of all ages and ability. The flute section meets regularly on a Monday night to play flute ensemble music together. We play for fun and are also open to invitations to provide dinner music, to perform at charity functions etc.
Our AimsOur aim as a group is to enjoy making music and to become better flute players as a result.
Current MembershipCurrently our membership is purely the flute section of the IoMWO. Any flute player on the Island who wishes to play with the flute ensemble is more than welcome, whether or not they want to join the Wind Orchestra.
