Owners entering horses/ponies do so entirely at their own risk and it is a condition of entry that no liability of any kind attaches itself to the Cabbyl Club, its committee, stewards and officials or landowners in any respect whatsoever.

The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser, all officials and stewards.

Should you or your horse fall at an event you must leave the ring on foot. If you choose to take part in further classes that day you do so entirely at your own risk and you (or your parent/guardian) take full responsibility of any injury that may have arisen from the fall.

The Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry at their discretion.

Misuse of Spurs or Whips will incur elimination. On blatant use of bad language a competitor will be asked to leave the showfield.

No competitor shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible to compete or be prepared to compete, in any competition without taking adequate precautions to ensure other members of the public are not put at risk. They must also notify the ring steward or any other official as may be appropriate in the circumstances.

All riders when riding, whether competing or not, must wear hard hats marked BS/ EN 1384, PAS015 or prefixed with ASTM or SE1 with a strap properly adjusted and fastened. Correct dress and footwear are also to be worn. There will be periodic hat inspections – you will not be allowed to continue if your hat doesn't meet the above specifications.

Dogs must be kept on leads at all times. Will dog owners please note THEY MUST clean up after their dog!

Horseboxes MUST NOT be mucked out onto the showfield, also please take your rubbish home or use one of the litter bins provided. We are fortunate to have generous landowners allow us to use their land – this will not be the case if we do not respect their property.

Ridden horses and ponies must be 4 years or over on the day of the event. Riders must have attained their 3rd birthday by 1st January of the current year.

All riders must be suitably mounted. Ponies on a lead rein are only eligible for those classes stated as such.

The organisers reserve the right to change judges or appoint substitutes and to amend the schedule as necessary.

Any person objecting to a prize being awarded to any competitor must make his/her protest to the show secretary within 15 minutes of the class and be accompanied by a £25 deposit, should the complaint be upheld the deposit will be refunded, otherwise it will be forfeited.

Horses and ponies must not be left alone when tied outside horseboxes or trailers. Under no circumstances should any horse or pony be tied to a fence.

Medical Armbands and Body Protectors to Purple Label (Level 3) MUST be worn for Cross Country/Jumpcross events, we strongly advise Body protectors for all jumping activities. Competitors will not be penalised for wearing Body Protectors or Medical Armbands in ANY discipline. Body protectors should be worn OVER your clothing.
