Welcome to the family website of Paul and Jirapa Evans.
This is version 2 of this website and utilises my greater awareness of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for styling HTML markup. I have refrained from using Javascript, frames and tables for styling.
After much deliberation, I have decided to maintain our photo albums off-line at Flickr.com. A banner link to our photo albums can be found on the left of this page.
We were going to make this site bi-lingual, in English and Thai. This was eventually decided against as there are still browser difficulties in rendering Thai script correctly. There is also an improvement in automatic online web translators, allowing Thais to browse English language websites in Thai. Probably, the best so far, is http://www.suparsit.com. Having said that 'Parsit' works better on some sites than on others. Unfortunately, 'Parsit' doesn't markup this site very well. Still room for some improvement.
There is still much I want to do on this site. I have built a basic HTML/CSS menu, and this will remain for non-script users. I am in the process of learning Javascript and I will write a JS menu soon.
Jeep also wants to write some information about Ban Phu and Udon Thani.
