Lifeboat Day 6th July 2008

This years Lifeboat Day will be held on the 6th July 2008 around the area of the Lifeboat House, Port Erin beach and harbour area.

Barrels can be obtained from local amenity sites or you can ask at the Shell depot on Douglas Quay, or plastic 200 litre barrels can be had from Element
Six at Freeport, Ronaldsway Airport but you need to contact Nigel Beaumont
first at nigel.beaumont@e6.com
let him know you are coming, reference
Port Erin Lifeboat.  Harbours are another good place to look out for old empty barrels.

Pallets normally are obtainable from amenity sites or building yards,  just let them know it is for Port Erin Raft Race and you should be okay. Rope or
ratchet straps will probably need to be supplied by yourself.  Just remember all rafts must be sat on, not sat in like a big canoe!

Click on the links below to download the fun raft race entry form and rules rules.  There is also a flyer so you can advertise the event.
(These forms are in PDF format, Adobe Acrobat Reader is require to view them...)

Please download and complete the entry form, then send the entry form  together with the correct entry fee, to:
