1st Willaston Pack was formed in 1980 to meet the needs of the children in and around the Willaston area. The Willaston district had previously been served by 2nd Douglas Group which had to close due to their HQ being demolished to make room for sheltered housing. The Pack has recently joined forces with 2nd Douglas Cubs to help with the training of their Leaders.

Small in size, the pack is proud of its achievements. The Pack meets weekly on a Monday with swimming on Wednesdays. They have an excellent Football team and always do well at sports. The Pack goes Camping and has at least one trip to the UK every year. The summer sees regular outdoor activities - putting the 'out' in Scouting!
