Willaston and 2nd Douglas now meeting together Due to a shortage of Leaders, Willaston and 2nd Douglas are now meeting as one Pack. Willaston Cubs welcome members of 2nd Douglas who travel all the way across Douglas to meet with us. We hope they enjoy being with us as much as we like having them! Football Competition - Willaston Reach Semi-Final 1st Willaston managed to reach the Semi-Final in the all-Island football competition. The weather was fine for this years event which was held in glorious sunshine at Noble's Park, Douglas. The team fought off heavy competition to reach the semi-final but eventually lost to Onchan. The team was very young this year and it is hoped to get the Trophy back for next! Willaston win Cross Country! 1st Willaston won the 2003 Cross country for the 5th year in succession. This is also the 7th time that the Willaston Pack have their name on the Cross Country shield - a fact that the Pack are very proud of. This was in spite of the fact that two of the Packs best runners were competing in another competition in Ramsey. How long can the Pack's luck last? Willaston win Cub Scout Challenge! Five very proud Cubs returned with the Trophy from the Cub Scout Challenge held on Saturday 8th February - much to the surprise of the Cubs and their Leader. Cub Scout Leader Paul Aldridge couldn't believe his eyes when he received a text to tell him the Pack had won! This is the first time Willaston have ever won this competition - congratulations to those who took part! Willaston win First Aid Competition! Don't know how we did it - but we did! - for the first time ever. Looks like 2003 is going to be a lucky year for 1st Willaston.
